Jacksonville, FL. Photographer. Thanksgiving 2016

January 31, 2017

I finally finished up the images I took from our Thanksgiving in Georgia! Every other year for my whole life, my dad’s side of the family all spends Thanksgiving in Georgia at our Grandparent’s house. This year there were 39 family members total! We were missing about 15 people who couldn’t make it for various reasons… but you could imagine the cooking that took place. Of course, dinner was DELICIOUS. The “kids” *cough cough… myself, brothers, and cousins… all stay out of the way, outside fishing, playing corn-hole, and anything else we can come up with. Now most of my cousins are busy running after their own little ones! I have had it on my bucket list for a very long time to do portraits in a cotton field. When I saw some of the fields were late being plowed, I HAD to photograph my brother and his family. It helped that we needed to update their family portraits anyway. ;D Here are a few of my favorite photos taken Thanksgiving day 2016:
