Peyton’s sweet 6 month Milestone Session!

I photographed miss Peyton as a newborn and 6 months flew by faster than I could blink! As a newborn, she stayed awake her entire session, but remained content while I moved her into different poses. I’m convinced she was didn’t want to miss a second. When she came to the studio for her 6 month milestone, she was just as curious! I can tell she is a very easy-going baby because she didn’t make a fuss at all. I absolutely love that I get to see how personalities develop, but how some unique characteristics stay the same. Peyton was just as much of a doll and let us get some great images.

Most often during sessions (especially with older babies who are aware of what’s going on around them), it takes a few minutes for them to warm up in front of the camera. After that, they see that it’s not a scary thing. Peyton was an exception. She was comfortable and content right off the bat. I was able to capture lots of her personality. For instance, she loves to eat pretty much anything and she definitely did! She was exploring the mesh canopy and the fun textured rugs. She also loved giving us big smiles for her older brother.

There wasn’t one outfit we put on this little girl that she didn’t look adorable in! Her mom brought two, the teal and grey, and we mixed it up with a purple tutu I have in the studio. Peyton’s nursery theme is grey and teal and I love that mom chose to compliment those colors by bringing them into her photo session. I can’t wait to see what we come up with for her One Year Cake Smash in another 6 months. I am sure it will fly by and be here before we know it!
